| SHOREX 96 was the world’s first offshore finance exhibition and the first event organised by Shorex. Revulotionary and daring, the event received a tremendous press coverage including in The Sunday Times, CNBC and CNN. Most major offshore financial centres were represented, as well as by a broad range of financial and professional service-providers specialising in international business. Offshore 2000 was the conference running alongside the Exhibition, at which leading speakers addressed key current issues in offshore finance. Sponsors included The International Herald Tribune, Nabarro Nathanson, Lowe Bell Communications. Speakers included Angela Knight MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Christopher Poll, Chairman, Micropal, and Joe Nicholas, Chairman, Hedge Fund Research. |
